Meet your Captain

I began sailing 18 years ago aboard 65’ sloops in the tranquil waters of the Bahamas. As a SCUBA Instructor and Dive Master I spent a tremendous amount of time above and below the water gaining invaluable experience in challenging conditions and remote locations.

Now based in Oahu, I captain a range of both sail and motor 40’- 75’ vessels. I believe in the continued advancement of my seamanship focusing on charters, deliveries, private contracts and lessons. As an American Sailing Instructor my passion for teaching helps any level of sailor achieve their goals. Weather its learning the basics of sail theory or preparing to become a full time cruiser I can guide you in the skills needed to enjoy a safe journey.

Over the years I have logged thousands of miles captaining dozens of luxury vessels in Southern California, Mexico and Hawaiian waters. I have also accrued over 10,000 miles of offshore sailing from deliveries in the Southern California and Baja Mexico region. I currently hold a USCG 100 Ton Masters Near Coastal Captains License, ASA Instructor License, and STCW credentials. I am a Dive Accident Response Technician (DART) with advanced training in 1st Aid, CPR, O2 and AED resources. My goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone who comes aboard.
